The restaurant covering 5000 m2 in CBD area in Beijing
The pics attached above show a restaurant in the CBD area in Beijing. The owner is From R.O.Korea. The res sells tuna buffet (not the self-serving buffet. Meal packages at different price levels actually, just the common Japaneses tuna restaurant style) and the dishes are good. The amazing thing with this res is its scale- the owner rented about 5,000 square meters of the most expensive real estate in Beijing. However expensive tuna dishes may be, they can hardly cover the rental fee. Moreover, tuna buffet is so expensive and so Japaneses-style that most of its customers are senior Japanese and Korean employees working nearby.
In conclusion, the res’s customer group is limited to a small group of people working in the office building nearby (which means that most of they will stay at home on weekends and will not visit this restaurant). Although their income is high and they are loyal to the taste, they can not create heavy cash-flow for this restaurant. I just can not agree with the 5,000 square meters. This is enough for a Fortune500 company’s HQ in China. By estimation the restaurant suffers loss of 1 million per month…
The dishes are really good, though.

This is a test of the returned Oakflickr- the author fixed the add-on to meet with Flickr’s new API. Thanks a lot for creating such a handy tool.
I haven’t written anything for a long time. I have been keeping taking pics, though. They are all stored in the memory card and I am not in the mood of posting them to this blog.
I have been transferred to the position I want. A quiet one in the corner, Where I can think quietly.
Should update this blog more often From now on. ^^
